...but that's not quite it. To finish the process:
Go to the email account of the address you signed up with,
look for the email from Unsubscribe Podcast,
and click the confirmation button.

Our subscription process is a best-practice called "double opt-in," and it's designed to keep your email address safe from being subscribed to mailing lists without your knowledge or consent. We were originally with a different newsletter service that (bizarrely) didn't provide a double opt-in option, so we switched services.
In other words, this process allows you to be fully aware of what you're subscribing to, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
